I recently spent the week in Tucson, AZ with a few co-workers. We are the title sponsor of a professional domestic cycling team. Click here to see more about our Competitive Cyclist Racing Team The week of training camp is an opportunity for us to gather imagery and video of the team- with all of their new gear. It also gives us an opportunity to showcase the team to other media outlets. This week we hosted folks from Outside Magazine, Peloton Magazine, Bicycling Magazine, Road and Cycling News

Bicycling “Making a winning team better” The last night of the camp we had our team presentation. This is where we show off the team to the general public. It was also an opportunity to raise some funds for El Grupo which is a non-profit youth cycling team in Tucson, Arizona that affords the opportunities of cycling to local teens who otherwise would not get the chance. We ending up having over 200 people attend, and with the generous support of our sponsors we raised over $5,600 from the raffle we had. Really stoked to be working on this project with such a great group of co-workers, team management and athletes. Enjoy.

A few of us from Backcountry/RealCyclist flew out to Dahlonega, GA for the teams training camp. It was great hang out with the team and see what we were getting ourselves involved with. I am very stoked on all of the players involved in this team, I truly believe that we will be making a big splash in the cycling world. This video really is the creation of several people. I had originally seen this “living portrait” shot by Chase Jarvis a while back. I knew instantly that this was something that we should do. It really gives you an idea of who the athletes are, much more than an image can portray. Tommy Chandler whom I work with, is an incredibly talented photographer, and he shot the video. In fact, it is a pleasure to travel to different athlete related shoots with Tommy knowing that you are going to come home with more than you expected. He is the man. Jeb Admire created the opening piece where the RealCyclist logo spins around with the wheel spinning sound, and Scott Richardson has been the creative mind behind all graphics from the team kits, to vehicle wraps to the website. I did the editing of the video. I look forward to a wonderful year with this team- I hope you enjoy the Meet the Team Video!
